OK, so I received my seatbelts for the back seat of my '66 bug in the mail. Then I tried to install them. Problem: I am able to find the 2 holes under the back seat about 6" apart in the middle of the car, but where are the other, more lateral holes for mounting the other strap of the seat belt? I can find a vertically oriented bolt that might be for the seat belt mount and it turns when I wrench on it, but it won't loosen or come out-I think it's got a nut on the underside where you can't reach by the rear torsion tube, so I suspect this isn't the right place to mount the seatbelt.
Can someone explain how to mount the seatbelts and where the other mounting bolts go?
Muchas Gracias,

| Hope this isn't a stupid answer, I'm just guessing because I don't have a sedan, but try looking under the rear windows near the floor and just in front of the back seat: there might be a threaded hole on each side in that location to take the bolt for the other end of the seat belt. |

Supervert, thanks for the reply. I'll have a look where you described. There is a hole there I think, but it didn't seem threaded, but I'll have another look with better light.
