where are you located 69 beetle? maybe between the samba minds we can find you a good shop that is local to you. i would always buy from a local shop 1-to support local business and 2-if something ever goes wrong you have someone you can deal with face to face. mail order engines can be a real pain if something goes worong with your motor.

Atlanta Ga, I have a shop, he said if I want I can check out some shops and prices on the internet, he will buy for me and allready knows alot of places. So I'm just looking for a web site with factory engines on them. Does anybody know of one?

I want to get rid of high performance parts, and it would be cheaper to but a stock engine. b/c I want to go back to stock, The owners before me had the whole engine changes to high performance parts.

Get a VW Trends or Hot VW magazine. There are dozens of engine suppliers advertised. If I were in GA & looking for an engine, I'd look up Jake Raby www.aircooledtechnology.com

What are you going to do with the parts from the performance motor?
