| i have a 67 bug. i just put in late 66,12volt motor however it has the 6 volt flywheel. i was able to exchange the bushing in the tranny to adapt the 6 volt tranny however what throwout bearing do i use, and what does it look like? i have a few but don' know what one to put in. thanks talipp. |

| if you happen to have the old flywheel off of the '67 just stick it in. If you don't, then just go buy a throwout bearing for a anything up to a '71. You say you have a couple laying around. The one you'e looking for is a ring with two round things sticking off opposite of each other, about 3/8". each with a little hole drilled in them which accepts the throwout clips. |
