| Im getting ready to have a custome paint job done on my bug. I need to know if the factory paint is laquer or not. Anyone have clues on this? |

Baked enamel.
VERY hard paint - it will take a lot of abuse, but if the car has spent 30 years in the sun, it will suffer of course.
