i need disc brakes badly cant stop quick enuff. i have a 65 sedan can i put 4 lug brakes on there? i cant afford the 5 lugs. also i want the cheapest kit.
i just need to stop

| Your 65 has link pin, or it should. The answer is no you cant just bolt up 4 lug brakes to a link pin beam. You can convert the front end to link pin ball joint mount with drop spindles or I believe that CB performance offers a convertion for this without drop spindles. I could be wrong. And actually there is another option. Brasil in the mid 70s made factory link pin spindles with a spindle tapper. This is probably not gonna happen, but if you fould a set of those spindles you would be in business. Yes they do exist. |
