I have a 65 bug and just took out the front beam. The clamps that hold on the sway bar were so that I had to use a air hammer to get them off. I was wondering if it is ok to drive the car without the sway bar. I only will be driving it with it off for about 5 days until the parts arive but I didnt know if this was a dumb idea do do.

Thanks,
Matt

I drive a '59, and i've never had problems with it, the early ones never had them, and you can notice a difference, but only slightly, Just slow down on those turns, and don't "Drive it like you stole it"...and you'll be fine.
