Hi All!!! Just wondering if anyone knows what the right off-set is for 4,5 Porsche Fuchs! I just got shipment of some, they have all the stampings on the back to say they are original, but they look a little off!! The centre sits in a bit too much I think, Very similar to a 5.5!!!!!

Any help is greatly appriciated!!! Cheers Nectar!

Post a picture in the gallery. And lets see. Take one from the side so we can see how much the spokes stick out. I have had 24 4.5s in the last 2 years and at least as many 5.5s and early 6s. I consider myself an expert on 4.5s, 5.5s, and early 6s. If you lay a straight edge across the back of the wheel and measure the distance from the very back of the studd boss to the straight edge on a 4.5 you should end up with 4.25 inches. Or somewhere close to that depending on what you are using for a straight edge. And 4.75 inches for 5.5s and early 6s. The difference on 5.5s and early 6s is in the outer lip. I hope you got the right wheel. 4.5s are like money in the bank. Nothing better than a good set of 4.5s.

The rest are went to trades and other deals. Used to be ebay was a hot spot for 4.5s, I actually bought 4 of eaby 2 years ago for $250.00. The guy had "Porsche" mispelled, and "Fuch" misspelled. And said they were 6s. I didnt know untill I got them whether they were 4.5s or 5.5s. When I opened the first box I was all screaming. Had to call all my freinds and rub it in. Now thats a come-up.

The prices now are threw the roof. There as pair on Samba right now for 750. Damn thes a gang of money for 2 wheels. 1500.00 for a full set is a little grip. Glad I have all I need for now. But I still have some leads on some others. 2 months ago I bought 2 for 400. I t hink those days are over though. Me and skim were the 4.5 humter for a wile there. "The 4
5 farms" you know.

Sorry Thayer you can borrow that GTV wheel as long as you want, or until I need it. But I aint parting with it. Ive had it on too many of my cars. Me and that wheel have alot of history too.

I dont know why I didnt think of this before but why not check the part number on the wheel on the back of one of the spokes.

4.5s= 901.361.012.01

5.5s= 901-361.012.04

early 6s= 901.361.012.06
