I just installed new felt channels, and all window rubber in my 67 bug doors. The passenger windows binds terribly! It also binded badly when I bought the car. Even if the felt channels were mashed/warped, I don't theink they would cause this much binding. Any ideas on why it's doing this?

I just got done fixing the same thing on my '67. First, make sure that your felt channels is not squished together. I spread mine out with a wide flat-head screwdriver. Second, make sure that the track is properly bolted in. I did this by loosening the two securing bolts slightly, then rolling the window up and down a few times. Tighten the bolts when the window is in the up position. If those don't work, you may need to take the window & track assembly out to clean and re-grease the track itself. That was a pain in the butt. Also, make sure that your vent window assembly fits properly.
