whats up fellow veedubers. i live in south orange county and like many of you i'm sure, work for a living. so when i'm not working on my car, i just want to go out and cruise and do what ever! but with work along with everything else, its been hard meeting people around here better yet vw owners. i'm 20 y/o and not from here. it seems that you had to grow up here in order to know people. i was just wondering if there are any local vw clubs or any group of people meet to b.s.

I live in So Cal as well and there are a ton of things to do, places to go, places to cruise the V-dubs. You should probably come up towards LA and out to the IE!

i heard there were cruise nights at bravo burger on tuesday nights.i figured there are still people around here that would be down to cruise and chill if not there, anywhere.
where do people here go to hang???

where in oc? its funny because i never really see that many bugs around here, and when i do, its old people (not anything against old people)but i think bugs are the best type of car and figured there would be alot more people around here driving them...but then again, its orange county. hey trackmagic, are you in any club or anything?

Hey 69,

I am not in any "formal" clubs. I am in with a few cliques in the local street racing scene, if that counts. I have seen oval windows to Super beetles come out and kill some pretty mean domestics.A few VW's show up to the gathering area and hang out and bullshit for a few hours before anything illegal starts. If thats your thing, E-mail me and I can hook you up as to when and where.

Although im not apart of the club, i know a couple of guys from a bug club called the "oildrippers"...they are a bunch of cool people to hangout with, out of cerritos. they gather up at this A&W root beer store on Alondra close to Cerritos collage every thursday night. Let me know if you are interested, ill give you more info.
