| I am the proud owner of a 1973 Thing. Things have 67-69 Bug Seats in them, and I would like to replace mine with aftermarket seats. Anyone have experience with aftermarket Beetle seats? (any years from 67-73) Any recommendations? |

I put a Corbeau Baja SS suspension seat in my 67 bug cuz my back is all screwed up and stock seats weren't helping. Great improvement! Also the mounting bracket bolts to the existing seat rail on the floor so you don't have to drill the floor and risk a rust point. About $200 each. Check out Beard seats too. A little more expensive. If you're in SoCal most buggy shops have a selection. If not, order from the factory and have them shipped to your door.
