BTW, How are you Al?
Rick

LOL! I'm good Rick, how's it with you?

Al,
I am good. Just acquired an NOS Berg 86mm forged crankshaft and Berg/Carrillo rods. The acquisition of the parts is time consuming but the finished car will be something else. The Berg Blue carb covers I purchased from you are setting on a set of original serial numbered Weber 48IDAs (I have owned them since 1970 when I bought them from Greg Aronson).

Also restoring a set of Berg/Jet 5.5 titanium rods for a new motor. They are super light and will be matched to a Berg forged crank. Very old school.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Rick

Pics or it didn't happen

I like my privacy and my friends....I post very rarely if at all.

I would suggest that if you want pics, the best pics are those in the VW Trends article on the Berglar. Articles in Trends are the best as well. :)

Rick

I understand, I'll dig out my old copy tonight if I can find it

You sound like a good guy. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Send me a pm with your email.

The Berglar is one of those cars I hope to see in the flesh before I'm gone from this earth...

i noticed in your avatar you have 2 berg signature knobs. i have 1995 edition # 5 of 200. what is numbers of yours? numbers 16 and numbers 30 of the 1995 edition were stolen from me by the way if you have them. there were 250 of 1996 edition made by the way.
