| I have a 68 vert with IRS that I would like to do a chassis swap on. Good deal on a '61 link pin, but not sure if it will fit. The vert is a ball joint IRS chassis. Will the body fit onto the earlier chassis without modification? Help!?! |

We never saw true verts in Australia (only after market chop tops) but as I understand it the vert chassis is specially strengthened to replace the missing stiffness of the roof.
So although the 68 body would probably fit OK on th 61 pan (I've seen it done with the sedan bodies), the end result may be a very bendy car!
I seem to remember that the rear body mount points in the rear wheel arches changed height somewhere between those dates too, so that would need modifying.
