Hi folks,
I admit im a newbie so bare with me. We just got a 68 beetle and i need to replace the seats in it. I found a seller on line who has a complet set of seats but they are from a 73. The seller advised me about a possible difference in seat rails.
My first question is
1. Will they fit.
2. If they are a different type can i change them out?

| The '68 seats have an "L" shaped rail welded to the pan, the '73 has a "T" shaped rail. The seat frames from the '73 will not fit on the '68 rails. You could either change the rails, or swap seat bottom frames to make it work. |
