| What's the best way to prevent bumper rust? I've heard waxing them as well as spraying with clear spray paint. I see the spray paint eventually chipping and looking like crap. Any suggestions? |

Powdercoat them. Paint does fall off eventually and road chips suck. I just repainted my front bumper and it already looks bad. I have my emblem powdercoated well over a year ago and it still looks brand new and no chips in sight.
Ony detractant, cost. |

| IIRC I think the folks that make Por-15 have something, would be worth a look. |

| I've use the POR stuff, it's called Glisen PC. I had a very bad experience. If you use it, spray it. They say you can brush it and I did and it literally ruined my hubcaps. There were brush marks all over, everything was uneven, and not anywhere near as shiney as the chrome. I'd say wax the crap out of your bumpers and make sure to dry them after you wash the car, unless it sits outside in the rain, then the only thing to try is Glisen PC. |
