I have a '63 that I am restoring, and it has been sitting awhile. It cranks just fine, but there is no fuel in the lines coming from the pump. I poured gas down the carb in the hope that I could get it spinning long enough to get the pump pumping but I have had no luck. Any suggestions?

is there fuel in the intake line from the tank to the pump? if so, and the pump is not pumping (i assume you have pulled the line off the carb inlet and tried to get the fuel pump to pump fuel into a gas can or some other container.) then the next step is to take off the pump and see if the fuel pump rod is actually doing it's thing. if not then you have a problem. also, is the fuel pump rod the right length? there are two different lengths, and if you have the short one in there, it won't activate the pump.
