| On an earlier post someone said that if you send an International money order for $15 Euros to Wolfsburg they will send you the spec. sheet on a particular chassis number you might own. Where to you get an International money order? The post office and commercial banks say they can give me an International draft. Is that OK or is a money order different? |

| I'm pretty sure they take credit cards. I think you mail them the request, with your card number. Safer than e-mailing it. I believe that's what I did. |

| you can also email them the request with all the credit card info. i did it last summer with success. |

I just sent my VISA particulars along with a cover letter stating my name, the cars VIN (off the tunnel) and my address. Got my certificate back in pretty short order. Interesting to see the options, delivery point and original engine numbers (both have the original engines :) )

schmelz3, i used their form right on the vw museum website:
http://automuseum.volkswagen.de/automuseum/english/kontakt/automane.htm?c6297ece
fill all that out and in the space for "text", type in your request and credit card info. they wont send you any reciept or acknowledgement, but for me, it arrived in the mail (to illinois) about 3 weeks later. |
