Or at least, moderated more strictly.

The thread is pretty much useless and cluttered up. The only decent poster is Lind who points out what's wrong with the Bus.

Most people just post links with no 'whine' attached. And the Whines are about the sellers and not the bus. What does that accomplish?

It just increases negativity all around and you can see it spill over to the other threads. If it exists, it should only be about the buses, NOT sellers.

Why? Because not all sellers know the 'selling rules, or unwritten' selling rules. Some sellers just don't know what/how to take photos, or what to write, or they just are not in the know. Or, they have a not perfect bus.

Whining about a bus colour is stupid. It is what it is. Pointing it out means nothing.

Sorry for the long post! But the whine thread is outlived it's usefulness.

If you think something is out of line, go hit report on it so I can get a feel for what exactly you are referring to.

I read it and I delete posts but sometime I gloss over things.

I reported things that I think are off topic, plain chit chat or inciting/trolling behavior.

Maybe there should be a set of guidelines posted? All the sellers are also users of this site, so when someone posts 'overpriced POS' they are attacking indirectly another member of the site.

I don't think that is very helpful or conducive to the future. Eventually everyone will have some 'grudge' against everyone else.

I looked at what you reported and the vast majority of it was ok.
The whine thread has also had chit-chat-type posts, often stemming from something in a particular ad. These types of posts are allowed.

Some of what you reported was a valid whine but you must have misunderstood how it was overpriced due to the text the whiner used.

I removed 3 or 4 posts that were over the line.

I'll update the first post to be more clear about the more conversational-type posts being allowed.

Ok, I apologize, as I thought the thread was not about 'chit chat' but to point out what is misrepresented, fraud, obviously whineworthy things.

The other 'whine' threads ie, Split Bug one is really concise. Same with a few others. The are about 50 pages, but the Split Bus one is 1289!!

:) It's great to know that someone puts so much time and dedication into the site, as I don't know much about it, I might be overstepping my bounds!
