| I was just wondering if the front fender chrome wheel arch trim would be the same for the 411's and 412's. I am mixing and matching what trim I can for my 412. Some existing pieces are broken in 1/2 and some is just missing. On one side I have the extra chrome piece by the rear wheel arch but on the other side, missing! What fun. |

Ray, would you happen to have any trim that runs along the side of the car? I have extra wheel arch trim and trim for the rocker panel, but I can't seem to find any straight body trim, specifically for a 2-door coupe.
Actually, if any of you have any of the missing pieces shown here:

I'd be very much interested in purchasing them!
Thanks,

Sorry...I have nothing. I used to have a whole bunch of dented up trim. I got rid of it all long ago when I realized that I could duplicate it out of wood on a router, make a plaster cast and then cast it from Zinc. It could be easily attached by 3M VHB adhesive strip.
When I get my engine finished and start on the body I will be finishing the casts.
I want to get away from the stock type with the plastic post insert. The leakage into body panels is a source of rust. Ray |

| Wow. That sounds GREAT, Ray! Please keep us all updated as to your progress. I'm sure there are plenty of Type 4 owners that would be interested in seeing how that turns out. |

| Well, I'm going to see what the 411 has on it and if it's in good shape. I will let everyone know who is interested if it works. |
