| Does anyone know of a Porsche 356 Coupe Kit Car that uses a VW IRS suspension? Like to build a good quality kit car. |

I thought most of those Speedster Kit Cars were universal and could be placd on most VW Type 1 chassis. |

In the past. with most kits, YOU supply the chassis and running gear. So what pan you put it on is up to you.
However a lot of the kit car companies now offer different stages of kit. Anywhere from just the body all the way up to a complete turn key car.
So your choices are limited only to the size of your wallet and imagination.
Do a simple goofle search for 356 kit car and I'm sure you'll find the answers you are looking for. |

| Virtually any T1 chassis will work except for the latest strut super beetle ones (there was a conversion kit for that at one time too). Even a Ghia chassis will work with bug floor pan. Some prefer the more authentic swing axle while others IRS - but either will work. A more modern tube chassis is preferred for vigorous driving (and more interior room) - but it may make vehicle registration more difficult. |

The original question asked about a COUPE.
The IRS vs. swing axle issue is moot if there is no coupe kit.
I don't know of any coupe kit although JPS and SAS offer completed cars.
Sometimes the wider track of an IRS chassis is an issue. |
