Rydubbs, try the strictly vintage website. Split fenders have indents to receive your taillight bulbholders. You need modified fenders. There is an old thread on the strictly vintage site entitled "five minute" that provides information on where to obtain either modified fenders or just the pocket thing which you will then have to graft into the fender.
Ronschopper, I have a 56 with OG fenders, I might be able to help you. It depends on what year of oval you have. I don't know the layout for heart taillights or for the egg taillights they put on US cars in 55.
