| Does any one have in suggestions about the best INEXPENSIVE ways to increase my overall horse power out of my 1600 duel port. Carb suggestions, Exhaust, etc. |

some dual kadrons help from what i herd good carb for the motor.
petronics ignition gets rid of points helps little
009 or 010 dist
no smog crap
if older motor permium gas

| in addition to what fried potatoes said you should get a performance exhaust which probably gives you 3-5 HP, but be careful which one you get because some of them are so loud it will wake your gramdma 3 states over!like the stinger is the loudest I think. |

| I agree, I would add a new exhaust, daul Kadron carbs and ration rockers. Those changes together should make a noticeable difference. |

You can do a search for SVDA or SDDA. Aircooled.net has them, also A.J. Simms racing at lowbugget.com. Also, you could do a search on
Bosch part # 0 231 170 034 to try to find it. I got a couple new on ebay for $70 each. I couldn't believe the difference in throttle response and I got 4MPG also on my 1600 over the 009. |
