| heads, intake manfold, carb, Offset oil cooling system ( 71 -on from factory, although some SP may have been converted) and maybe a few ponies( read HP) but not that much really. as far as STOCK spec anyway, now DP performance upgraded.. whole nuther bag... |

Some 1600DP came stock without the doghouse.
SP has slightly better torque on takeoff- which is why you see so many buses with SP.
DP has better high end.
This is due to the velocity and angle of the intake gasses. |
