I imagine this is something with my browser but…
When I search for parts in the classifieds on a specific vehicle, I push the “back” button in IE and the fields are reset. I then have to scroll way down and select the vehicle type again. Is there some way to auto fill these in when I go back? Or is this a website thing?
In other words, in the classifieds, it would be nice to be able to push the back button and have the vehicle “parts”, “make” and “location”, already selected again for another search.
any ideas to change browser preferences?
Thanks in advance |

This is a feature of Internet Explorer.
IE9 was just released, maybe they altered this behavior in the new version.
I have not tried IE9 yet as I primarily use Firefox, which does not erase the form.
When you run a search, it may be preferable to click the "Search form hidden, click here to revise search" link at the top of the search results rather than pressing back. This gives you the entire form again, exactly as you filled it out, and you can tweak things as needed. |
