Hi Guys
I just got a new addition to the family, a 76 Slanted nose 914 with 78k original miles, Air conditioner, never accidented... the car has been sitting for over 15 years in a garage... I am not a fan of 914 but the price was very very good... I just have few issues, the accelerator pedal get stuck (it is easy to replace the accelerator cable?) and how can I open the rear trunk? There is a key right under the dash close to the middle of the car but I dont have the key to trigger it. The slanted nose is factory or not?

I will post picture tomorrow, as far as I know, the car was very well taking cared off.

No not factory - fiberglass parts aren't they? Is it the Chalon Kit? Assume the rear has the PORSCHE aftermarket reflector? Not sure what center key might be for - is it controlling electric switch? Doubt there is cable to trunk - probably an electric solenoid so you'll need a battery and close switch to solenoid to open.

But the front is metal, it look like the Chalon kit, same front and rear spoiler but not rear fleared panels... how do I open the rear trunk? I have a battery already.
