Purchased some gauges awhile back and just got around to installing them
on oil pressure gauge are the nmbers 350.271/02/04 12V
made in germany 5.76
Was supposed to be out of a 914
range is 0 20 40 70 on the front. Also lbs./sq.inch and VDO
on back is a ground symbol, a +, and a G (pretty obvious)
Question is what is it out of, and what sender do I need? |

| there was no factory oil pressure gauge in a 914, only oil temp and that was not a numbered gauge. Even the 914-6 didn't have a pressure gauge and your gauge dated 76 would not be a -6 gauge since they were only in production 70-72. |

Figured that, thats why I asked what it was actually out of?
Unless it was added on by someone.
What car had this type of gauge so I can get a factory sender to fit it?
Not interested in aftermarket. What car had this type of gauge factory? |

no type of car. vdo 350-251 is the vdo part number. this is an aftermarket vdo gauge added in by someone. it is out "out of" any other car. if the psi range is 0 - 80, then your sender is likely the standard 10-180 ohm vdo sender. |
