Not driving a bus but we're booked for Wednesday-Sunday! I think i just soiled myself with excitement!!! Looking forward to meeting the whole lot of you!

There are several folks coming out for the gathering with their Barndoors who chose not to participate in this guessing game. With this said, the 7 remaining boxes are now open to peeps who own a Barndoor but are not planning to bring it. But you need to be present to collect the prize.

Looking forward to seeing your Single Cab at the gathering.

7 weeks to go for one of the greatest gatherings in VW history!

Just got confirmation of 3 more Barndoors coming out to the gathering and 3 maybe's? It also looks like the caravan down from Nor Cal is getting bigger.

In the last couple of years the caravan has left Sacramento Thursday morning and traveled down 99. 99 has a lot of support if there are any problems and the traffic is slower so you dont get run over. If any one wants to hook up from out of town I have 2 acres of parking at my house and a large selection of tools if repairs are needed. The caravan will have at least one trailer with a running car on it so if needed we can rescue another car. Hopefully we can combine with the people from the bay area or any one coming down I-5 and make it 20 plus barndoors. We are looking to bring at least 8 from Sacramento.
The caravan was all the talk at Kelly Park this weekend. I was able to see a few of the buses that plan on jumping in and gather some parts for the buses that are still not on the road. Official time of departure from the Kombi Haus is 8am Thursday morning. Kombi Haus is centrally located in the downtown Sacramento and the freeway is only blocks away. My phone number is 916 813 1961 if anyone needs more info.

Sounds good Todd, spoke to a few guys who will be taking part of this caravan down. Justin, Komib Haus, mentioned you guys would be meeting up at his shop. Take tons of pictures and videos.

I was at the OCTO meeting last night sorting out with the crew the flyers and the layout of the show. It's going to be good, and expect a good turn out as well. PJ, Chuck and Jim Decker did an AWESOME job with this flyer. I'd hold on to this flyer if I were you!

That's great news! You should get in touch with Camping Box ( Greg Noble ) and Clara Williams, out of Olympia, Wa. They are coming down as well and maybe you guys can hook up some where? Cruise down together and meet up at Kombi Haus for the Bus Farmers caravan down.

Lind-O-Calrisian - is your Idaho posse still planning on meeting up at Kombi Haus for the Bus Farmer's caravan ?

OvalteenAZ, there are a few caravans coming out from the east, passing through the AZ, but no one's chimed in?

Also, just got word of two very rare Barndoors showing up as well.

3 coming down from potatoland and joining in with the caravan at sacto. hopefully there won't be any carjackings shutting down I-80 like there was last weekend.

Barndoor Mafia Fri Apr 27, 2012 1:28 pm

Gibbs would be the one to worry about getting car jacked ....... With all of that bling bling he's got going on.

Good to here Lind-O-Calrisian. Maybe you can hook up as well with the Washington posse some where down the path? Keep us posted. Also, Troy is coming??

Does anyone coming through Northern California (Rocklin/Sacramento) have room for a couple of passengers? I am visiting my brother before the show and would rather ride down in a bus than rent a car. 8)

Neil, the bulk of the caravan will coming out from the Sacramento area, The Kombi House. Todd, Bus Farmer's, is heading this caravan down and made mention up in here about the journey down. Someone will eventually chime in here about what the final plan will be?

Also, you may want to get in contact with John Pickens. He maybe coming down from Washington in his BD SC?

Your best bet is to keep an eye on this thread. And when I see you I will teach you a few phrases in Catalan, Vasco and Castellano! Dale!
