Has anyone successfully fitted 17 inch aluminum rims to a pre a 356? I would like to fit a set but do not know if they will simply fit. As far as rubber is concerned I was going to fit 185/60's ( ifI can find them ). I measured everything last night, and know it will be very very close to not fitting. My major concern is the bump stop perch.... does anyone have any experience?
All / any help would be appreciated. |

I am assuming they are a standard VW offset then, and nothing fancy. Did you enlarge the bolt holes in the rim for your larger porsche stud? or use vw studs on your porsche drums... or after market brake setup? |
