My friend .... you are a legend! Un-be-lievable work. Really, when I see work like this I only realise how lightly I got away with my rust bucket. This is incredible.

Thank you for your words, hope to have some cool news in the upcoming weeks.

Im just lost for words when I follow this project! My friend you are an incredible craftsman! To even fathom this type of resurrection is mind blowing and what u have done is blow it out of the water!!!!! Many respects and blessings your way so you can finish this how u have been doing and with all the health you need. I wish I had some of the pieces you need so I could donate. You deserve them! Im sure NOTHING is easy to find where you're at! Keep it up, this will go down as one of the best resurrections I'm sure!
Bendiciones Hermano! Tremendo trabajo, y que Dios lo bendigo para q termine pronto!

Ive been working on the truck, im waiting for a pair of doors, mine are so bent at front that is shame to use them with new A pillars. I decided to make my own gates cause the work that i did in the back was so big that im almost sure that a perfect new set of gates wouldnt fit without modification, by now i have the right one, more than a week of work, but is not that bad, im starting to like the way it looks, something like the smooth gates on a barndoor, the way i bult it is different from the way the factory did, but it looks similar, the one in the back is going to be a lot harder. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Ain't nothin' wrong with those gates, my friend. Those are a thing of beauty and a labor of love. Very, very nice. You have mad skillz, brother. Truly mad skillz.

Some more news about my 60 DC, i´ve been working in the nose, is going to be a challenge but is coming along well, finally i made the 3 gates, i bult them in a different way than original and i feel they could be better, but for me is the first time trying to assemble something like that and is not that bad. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

That truck is a crazy amount of metal work. Its looks good so far.

Some pictures of what im been doing lately. I´m almost ready to turn it over and put the tubes (hand brake, accelerator, clutch, etc), and paint the undercarriage. The weel wells klassicfab made for me are amazing. The fit was just perfect, a little bit of work to put them in but after that they look really nice. I could not find a set of seats locally so i used what i had on hand, I had to shorten them by 10 cm but i think are close to what they should be. The nose is not as good as i would liked it to be, but there is nothing else to do without changing it, and is to big to bring one here, to much money :).

Did you wear out that red welder of yours from the earlier pictures? Looks like you have a yellow one now.
Wouldn't be surprised with all of the crazy work you are doing. Keep it up!!!

beelzibus Sun Oct 07, 2012 2:06 am

WOW.

aitor11 Sun Oct 07, 2012 5:16 am

Muthashabubu yes I have the yellow one now, it welds a lot better. The old one had about 20 years laying around and nobody used it, now i know why!!!.

Here are more pictures, it is waiting for paint!.

I could not find seats, so I tried to make the ones that I had to look similar.
