The same thing happened to us....Oodle copied and pasted most of our Samba ads into their ads....except the "Item" description used at the the top of their ad said it was a "used Karmann Ghia coupe".....but our ad text was for an Etched Glass Beer Mug with a Ghia image on it.
Every ad they posted had the "item" wrong........and us selling something different than the ad they stole from this site described. We severely edited their ads saying they had been taken without our permission and posted on their site.
It was a good thing Oodle sent notifications so we could act quickly.
Can this sort of "cyber thievery and misrepresentation" be stopped?? And how low is it to make money off someone else's advertising without permission? Seems like a skeevy site when I looked at where they had copied all the ads from.
We would have hated to get an Paypal notice from someone who thought they could get a used Karmann Ghia Coupe from us for $10.....our 69 coupe is worth way more than that.
Thanx.

I posted in the sellers section at 9am today about them doing my ads on here. All my parts are new & they posted them as used.
I also mailed Everette and he is looking into it..... |

They do not have permission to do this and I have not provided them the information.
Unfortunately there are many sites on the internet that grab content from other sites to try and redisplay it in order to sell their own advertising. I have seen this many times when doing Google searches, the most common being the zillion sites that show eBay auctions.
I will see if I can block them from grabbing content from my site.
I do not provide ad information to anyone and I can't see a situation where I would ever do that. |

I just received a new e-mail that a new post was on this thread, but there is not one.
Was a post deleted or did Oodle captured my password? |

Nothing to do with this post, they hit 42 different topics. This was just one of them. |
