In the process of cutting out the right side floor pan and was wondering if the section I have circled in the pic is part of the Frame Head or part of the old Floor Pan?
I don't recall this being an issue on the left side floor pan and at this point the only way it's coming off is if I cut it off.
Advise is appreciated. Thanks!

| I hope you have the replacement piece you will be welding in Before you are cutting? That is what I recommend to the buyers of my Type 3 heater channels & pans etc. :D |

Assuming that is a Beetle pan, it is part of the floor and not the "Napoleon Hat". It's probably throwing you off because it is the only part of the floor pan that has a bead as opposed to the spot welds that are everywhere else. |
