Dear VW Buddies!

I am looking for the Split Window Kit for my water cooled Beetle.

I have also written to ABT and all in vain.

Does any of my VW Buddies out there would know where i can get the following?

1. Split Window Kit for new beetle
2. Chrome "overrider" Bumpers (Front & Back)
3. Louvered Deck Lid

I really appreciate any assistance for me to get my hands on this stuff.

Thank you so much!

That's a big no to all the above. There isn't a market for any of those items. Go custom if that's what youre after but please don't think that someone would gear up to produce retro doohickeys for a car that is now discontinued.

Thanks Chazz79!

Fully agreed that its gonna be hard to come by this items but i really do not mind used ones as well.

Cheers Buddy!

Perhaps you didn't understand. Hard to come by does not equal does not exist. Those items were never available for the new Beetle, even aftermarket, so you'll have to do something custom if that's the look you want.

Thanks Letterman7!

The Split Window Kit was created by ABT Sportsline as a bodykit for the new beetle when the new beetle was launched. ABT does not make them anymore...indeed another way is to custom, but would like to see if any VW buddies might come across these kits.

Cheers! Am still searching....

I have no knowledge or affiliation with any of these links:

eBay item

Vortex doodle

Craigslist ad in LA

I thought one of the fiberglass manufacturers for air-cooled bugs offered one but I didn't see it when searching the usual suspects. Good luck.
