I need to purchase the complete front apron assembley and some other pieces. I see that a few of the companies sell them and the pictures seem to be the same on all the websites.
My question is... are they all from the same place in China, etc.???
I am close enough to MidAmerica Motors to drive over and pick it up from them, pay the tax but save the oversized shipping. But.. If the metal thicknes and fitment is worse than one from say CPIor WW then I will order it fom there as I would like the best I can get.
I needed an end section of the Napoleons hat and picked one up at the Corvette festival at MAM last weekend. The thickness of the metal is way thin compared to the original and the quality of the stamping is horrible. That got me thinking that I should find out if all repop stuff comes from the same place and if not where to get the good stuff.
Any input on your experience and knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

| Grind it down and weld it in. Nobody sees the Napoleon hat etc! Then go buy your next section from MAM. :D |

| No, they are not all the same. Danish made parts used to better quality, but it's been too long since I bought any to recommend a vendor. |

| I just installed a upper rocker, and a lower quarter panel from MAM. They both needed the normal trimming to fit, but they had the right contours, and the metal was just as thick as the original steel. I would recommend their sheet metal highly. |
