View original topic: Is there a good rubber glue?

I'm trying to glue rubber to rubber with a glue that would be flexible. I slit a couple of rubber seals and slipped them over the shafts of the clutch and brake (under the floor) and want to seal the cut back together. Is there a product that will withstand the flexing?

Thanks,

Micro

Go to a surf or dive shop and get a wetsuit repair kit.

Someone today told me that 'super glue' will work?

try shoe goo, you can fix anything with shoe goo.

Super Glue will hold it but is not flexible.

I've used Super glue on stuff that doesn't flex with great results.

I've used Goop on floormats, the seemed to work better if I had to pull the floormats in/out of the Bus.

Is shoe goo and goop the same thing?

Yes, I think so

are you talking about the seals on the clutch/brake pedal shafts?...You shoulda just unbolted them and slid the seals over the bottom of the arm/s. and used no super glue or shoe goo. Spring for a $2 new set and don't slice 'em
