I have the ladder to go with my roof rack, but I'm not sure where it's supposed to go. I've seen pictures of them coming off the side and back and even the front. Do most people put it on only for shows? Is it something that can ride on the bus? If so, how do you keep it on?

| I have a ladder which has a rail at the top which sits in the rain gutter, and a bent over bottom which leans against a rear tire when installed. Obviously it is for folding up and storing when not in use. Most others I have seen also are for temporary installation while being used, and removed when driving. |
