If you have been following our other Wide 5 Smoothie Project on the samba found here => http://airkewld.co/rhvwvL , we had a ton of interest for 4x130mm applications. It was only a matter of time before we came out with it.

Here are some photos of the design and completed project.

They are 17x7's available in 2 back spaces, 5.250" and 4.625" and they accept the Wide 5 hubcaps. At this time they only come in raw form.

What do you think?

I fitted mine with porsche 5x130's in a 17x7 and couldnt be happier. It made my rpm's lower at crusing speeds. I really have a car I can drive on the interstate now.

If I hadn't already went with the porsche wheels. The stock smoothies in 17's would be my next pick.

I had all 4 tires delivered from tirerack to my door for $330.00 including freight.

IMO, I just don't like the way 17's look on a Bug. They just aren't my style. However, I would rock the smoothies in 15" or 16"

Appreciate the feedback. My business is built on thinking outside the box with different views and taking them all into account. Thanks for posting.

We will be doing chassis and complete assembled front ends. No installs, no mechanical work.

No Sorry.

Is there a reason behind not doing a 5x112? I've got a '71 bay and think 17" smoothies would look sick. Not being a smart ass, just wondering if it's a problem because of the disks.

Liability is one reason, but more so because the 5x130mm would come into play next. We are not going to make them in either pattern for liability reasons.
