| I just re installed a trasaxle I put the hockey stick I engadged the forks to engadge gears but I cant get anything but reverce and 2nd gear now, how do you get the transaxle shaft in the correct position to install coupler, so all the gears work ? does anyone know how i can manually shift the gears from laying under it, how do I get netural? Help |

if you put in a straight axel kit you have to change the hockey stick as well, the dimple is in a different place.
i had to take out the trannny of my type 3 twice in a day because the local source? sold me the wrong stick.
. you have to feal were the forks are, its one click away from any direction, unless its in reverse itll only go one way.
if it is a type 3 stick. you can use a flat head set screw in the right location for a tempoary fix. kinda nerve rattling though...

You have to install the nose cone with the shift forks in neutral. If you didn't do that, you'll have to pull it back out and fix that.
If it's just stuck in a gear, you use pliers or something to move the hockey stick manually but it's a real pain. |

| Yes it was in netural. Im getting reverce and secound gear, now . does any one tell me how to go through the gears by maybe putting visegrips on hockey stick and shifting througth the gears by hand, I could get a helper engadge clutch. help |

| Thank for the feed back it was stuck linkage now Im trying to get the shifter stop plate adjusted cant find 3 rd and forth, any help? |
