Got a '60 Single w/ a straight axle rear setup. I've been told that the backing plates are from a '68 Bug. I don't have any e-brake cables in there now. Will I be able to just get the stock cables and use them or will I need a set from another year. Any modifications to get the stock set to work?

call bus boys and get their e brake extension tubes. You need to get the right cables as well, bus boys can sell you those also.
