How do you adjust it so a steering wheel is "pointed" correctly? When I'm driving down the street in my '60 Deluxe, the steering wheels is pointed like I'm turning to the right.
If it was a splined shaft, I could just easily re-attach it, but it's a single key way so it goes on only 1 way. Help me please! |

| the adjustment is in the drag link. it is a real pain in the ass. drive the bus so that the wheels are straight, pop the ball joint out of the pitman arm (with the really expensive tool) and then straighten the steering wheel and screw the ball joint end in or out of the drag link until it fits in right and the wheel is straight and then re-attach the ball joint. if that is too much or too little, you will need to get a pitman arm puller and move that one notch on the shaft. like I said it is a real pain in the ass. |

| You also could have excess wear in your king pins, tie rods and just plain out of alignment. |
