what year did the sliders change from the early style like the 3 fold splits? i picked up a set of three with a rough front header bow at a swap meet thinking they would fit my split, but they are wider. just wondered if they change in 55 like the beetles. the ends appear to be the same as bug, so i can use the "foam" pieces to restore my 3 fold bug sliders.
anybody know? |

| You are in the wrong section but bugs where 3 fold until 1955, then in 1956 they were 2 folds with square rear corners, then in 1957 they went to round on all four corners and stayed that way until 1963 |

| i meant to type in bus sliders, these are for an early deluxe bus, just wondered what years.. |
