what does ev'ryone use these days to keep their ride clean. products come and go, whats new, whats good. what still works better that any new stuff ever will. my favorite is the natural bristle pot brush. it works great on the rubber mats in my bus. its stiff and grets all the dirt and pebbles right out the door in a few pulls. i keep it in the spare tire well. i always have rainex on hand too. for cleaning the interior i use a "mild" solution of simple green.

i like & use the meguire's crystal system cleaner/polish & wax for my candied/pearled bus. it leaves a great finish & though costly compared to turtlewax, is a brand name i trust on my bus.
i also like the eagleone wadding polish for deoxidizing my aluminum trim & desolving oily grime on vinyl. that gojo orange hand cleaner make a good rubbing compound for those stubborn stains, on the wheels or bumpers, but too abrasive for most other paint finishes.
and of course, a good bottle of windex, extra fine (000) steel wool, a new razor blade & last weeks news does my glass up just fine.
when i get an interior to clean, i'll try the simple green, thanks for the suggestion.
good luck

Mothers metal polish for my rims and all metal. Does not scratch the metal in anyway and leaves an awesome shine afterwards.

Since my paint job is rattle can, when I wash it, I just use Palmolive and water to get all that nasty oil and grease off the body.

Umm, some generic Windex for the glass and some Armor All for the tires.

Ohh, and a whisk broom to remove the dirt from the mats.

Liquid glass for the exterior. nothing shines like it and though it is costly, it has kept my paint on my bus shiny. the thing was coated with dust from sitting in the garage for the last 8 plus years and all i had to do was dust it!!! i use gooey crap(wet ???) on the tires of all my autos though if you are sporting whitewalls, you have to be careful not to get the goop on the tires. or rims for that matter. interior i use son-of-a-gun. chrome, i use a wadding polish thing. i think it is mother's??? oh, and i crank the tunes in the garage!!

I like Westleys "bleache white" for cleaning tires and rubber mats. It is also good on the seat covers and door panels and headliner but use caution and keep it damp with water until your done scrubbing, don't let it dry up or use it in the sun.

It is amazing on lenses! it makes them look fresh (sorry does not repair spider cracks!)

I prefer the clear type tire shine "armor all stuff" Clear Guard is the brand....

Good car wash (nearly any brand) is always best unless you are trying to strip the old wax of before re waxing... Love to see people washing their "new" cars with dish soap or laundry detergent, then wonder why their clear coat peels off in 2 years!

TR-3 "resin glaze" is great for bringing back dead dull paint... (be sure to use your favorite wax after using a "finish restoring" product...) Turtle wax "color back " is similar to the TR-3

I like "never dull" wadding for the chorme and Mothers over that to keep it protected...

That's some of the stuff that I've been using, after trying alot of stuff... most of which is here and gone.....

For chromework, Autosol metal polish is fantastic for removing the beginnings of surface rust.

WD-40 is great for removing tar. Spray a little on a rag and it takes it right. Found that little tid-bit on their web site.

howzz about bugzzz. any homeopathic remedies like the WD-40 tip? i've heard of peolple "marinating" the undercarriage with WD as a rust preventative. a friend in H.S. family had a dairy farm. they "washed" the tractors with kerosene.
