| Ok,now that you guys have help me with my taillight prob(Bad grounding)one more problem.Whem i turn my key to the first stage my breaklights come on or when i turn my head lights on my breaklights also come on????WHY???? i have red and black wire going to ignition side of fusebox(seconed from right(black wires)???HELPPPPP |

Since no one has posted for you yet... I'm not that good with the early ones but I'll give it a stab...
The brake light system runs through the turn signal switch on yours... but I think either the stoplight switch itself is bad (stuck) or someone has the wires at the fuse box wrong... your only dealing with 2 wires to hunt... from the fuse box to the stoplight switch and from the stop switch to the turn signal switch... sounds like the rest is okay from there back since they light up and all.... good luck... go to one of the sites that has color wiring diagrams.... |

| Replace the brakelight switch it may be intermittently sticking.... |
