I wondered if anyone knows of a person or company that makes wiring harnesses for type II's

I bought mine from Wolfsburg Wst but that was a couple years ago. Before that is was West Coast Metric...but now I am not sure.
Oh, just checked my Wolfgang International catalog and they look to still sell them.

www.busdepot.com (they sell the same thing as Rocky Mountain but it's all cheaper)

Having mine made in the UK to order.
Try peter@volksgoods.fsnet.co.uk not sure how price will work out for you on carriage. but made to order sounded better to me than off the shelf stuff.

Hi i just installed a new wiring harness in my 58 single cab.It was all new to me.It was very easy it comes with wiring diagram with easy to read instructions and diagrams each wire is color coded origanal german specks.i belive ther phone number is (310-519-8147)they are located in california also they have adress at vintagebus.com(i payed $150 at octo meet for full harness the other guys shops want aleast$300 for theres.

Wiring Works. I don't have contact info, but it is on Vintagebus (www.vintagebus.com).
I am pretty sure all the parts places (like Wolfsburg West, West Coast Metric, etc..) all get them from him and mark the price up. Call him directly. He is nice and ships promptly. He stocks harnesses for busses 1958-67. Pre 58 he doesn't have, but he told me he can custom make one for those if you have a GOOD old harness to get measurements and wire colors from. I am going to be speaking to him soon (hopefully by OCTO in October or at OCTO), because I have 56 that needs a replacement and the one I have is in very good condition (other than green wires) and not all hacked up. Maybe he can use it and start stocking the 3/55-58 brakelight decklid US bus harnesses.
