View original topic: The Sinner.......The most Epic 356 ever built
hugheseum Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:03 am

The Sinner is a 1956 real 356 with its original 356 chassis/body,356 brakes and trans.

This is the car several attempted to build but ended up building vws with 356 body parts. It is doubtful anyone will do it again as the cars are just too valuable.

This car brings the 356 to a new level in that it transcends being just a car and becomes actual art......Yep folks the 356 is now solidified as art.

I have sold 2 sets of "artistic" pictures of the car from the ad alone. This car has impressed all who have looked, the naysayers, the dreamers and the buyers.

I was worried the world wasnt ready for The Sinner.........I was wrong, they were just waiting.

14,220+ folks might disagree

I applaud your sales techniques

Can you explain whats epic, it looks like it was just left to rot???

hugheseum Wed Oct 19, 2011 11:32 am

if you didnt see the ebay ad you missed it...........the sinner was a restored chassis/surface rust exterior..........look up epic in the dictionary.......shit depending on how recent the edition is it might even have a pic of the sinner

dawerks Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:07 pm

It 'sold' for $15,xxx, 14K views and 4 bids. That should tell you something....

Pretty NOT epic. There's 'worse' cars that have sold for double/triple the price. I point to Vic S. last A he listed. It was sold for over 35K and it was basically in the same shape as yours, except not intentionally molested.

Sorry bro, nice sales attempt, but you screwed yourself out of alot of cash. And as we all know, the one thing you love is flipping these old birds for big $$$. I think you should rethink your attitude when it comes time to flip out the 52...

Does it run???

"Vegetable-oil-over-rust is the new flat black." lol

I believe it had tons of views because it was mentioned on bringatrailer.com

An appearance there guarantees a huge boost in views by car enthusiasts of all types.

"I read ‘recovered from a well…’ and thought: that explains it! The real sinner here is the guy that shat out this piece of crap. Porsche must be rolling over in his grave." LOL

Epic would be your ego.

this is just another thread pandering to your over inflated sense of self worth. All you ever seem to do is put the feelers out to see if you can get people to come and nut swing, except it seems people here are a little tired of your antics.

Wow when you thought it couldn't get any worse, plywood really- EPIC FAIL!!!

" I love old 356s that have patina and everyone wants an unrestored car. That said, this is one of the biggest piles of schit I've ever seen on eBay and that is really saying a lot. It's a testament to how valuable these cars have become that someone actually thinks that they can sell this pile of parts for big money. "

hugheseum Thu Oct 20, 2011 9:32 am

thanks auslander, your the tool that outperforms

auslander Thu Oct 20, 2011 9:40 am

??? Not bashing you just trying to understand your perspective on the car, but you can't understand crazy???

James D Thu Oct 20, 2011 2:17 pm

With a bit of luck it´ll get restored properly now, with some nice shiney paint.
