Does anybody know what is the correct color for the knee rubber for a deluxe '63?

Thanks,

Doug

Doug, I believe it is grey. At least for my old '64 deluxe it was grey.

My May 63 is grey. Cannot remember seeing a black one actually???

Grey is the correct color. The black ones you've seen are the cheesy repros. Must be easier to do them in black than get grey rubber or something.

ISP West is selling a 'light grey' knee rubber. Wasn't the original a dark grey? Anyone know a source for the right color grey if ISP West's isn't right?

Thanks

I hate to sound anal about something as small as 'knee rubber', but I agree that grey is 'the way'. Has anyone bought the light grey ones that are on Ebay? Are they too light of a grey to look like the original ones?

Here is the Ebay link to the 'light grey' knee rubber you are talking about. My original gray knee rubber looks a lot darker...

Looks a little on the 'light' side to me. I have black on my deluxe...
