Can anyone tell me how they removed their cargo floors from a split window bus. I need to replace a couple beams and the floors are rusted and holey. Is there anyway to do this without having to drill out all the individual spot welds? I don't wan't to ruin the existing beams that are still good by drilling through them to set the spot welds out.
thanks |

| thats the only way, but there is a bit for a drill that cuts out spotwelds, it leaves a round circle (about the size of a pencil eraser) of the floor and will leave the frame rails be. be prepared for a big job. good luck on the bus! |

| The drill bit is the best bet..Eastwood company sells em pretty cheaply. If you are careful you can also use a grinder or cut off tool to grind thru the welds. It's difficult to be precise and not gouge the underlying structure and it also destroys the floor. BTW, the grinder is also a good tool for revealing the spot welds. Run it across the floor and the spot weld areas show up clearly. |
