| OK- this is my first type II and the cargo floors have some pretty interesting rust problems- The panel was as I think used to deliver paint, auto or some other type of enamel- anyways the floor is layered in spilt paint that has formed a protective coating over the majority of it EXCEPT, where the cross bracing is and on both the passenger and drivers side edges- too bad, because in scraping off the many layers of paint, the floor is nice and shiny metal. ANYWAY my question - I assume I have to replace the entire floor and some cross bracings w/ repros- I am looking at both Wolfsburg and BFY, but they both seem to be general floors, and NOT an exact match to the panel floor. WHAT is the best option, besides waiting for an original to become avail? |
