I purchased a really cool shift knob from an advitiser here on the Samba. It was a clear shift knob with a cobra head inside that was supposed to glow in the dark. After about two weeks the knob began cracking and looked like crap. I tried contacting them but they ignored my emails. Too bad, it was a really cool knob. I'll try to dig out a pic.

Volkswagnut referred me to this thread. Thanks man!! Theres some bad ass setups out there!! Makes me want to redo my quickie, thrown together in an afternoon job..... but anyways, heres what I'm currently running. Just some 1/2" steel tube and a couple cuts in the chop saw...
