View original topic: Custom Wheel Fitment on a '72 Super

I have read a lot about the Maxx strut/spring package from Topeline, but i am on a pretty limited budget for my project. What customizations will i need to make to my 1972 Super Beetle, if I want to fit wheels with the following specs:

16" diameter x 6.5" width
Bolt pattern one: 4 x 100
Bolt Pattern two: 4 x 114.3
38mm Offset
5.25" Back Spacing
73.1mm Hub bore

I also want to get a lower stance on the front end of my car, so tapered sport springs and the adjustable lowering struts from CIP1 seem to be the obvious option, if they'll allow the use of 6.5" wheels.

Also, I'll be leaving the stock drums on all four corners for now (using a 10mm spacer/bolt pattern adapter) later upgrading to front disk brakes.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
