| Beg, Borrow, or Steal a copy of VW Bus Custom Handbook by Meredith. Has an excellent couple of pages listing the various options. You can get one used on Amazon for under $10. You might also inquire with the folks at Bus Boys who seem to have all the stuff necessary for various types of modifications. Altho' I just raised mine, it had dropped spindles with a bug straight axle tranny and I was told that was the best way to lower; it handled OK, but I didn't like having to slow to 2 MPH everytime I got near a dip or headed up a driveway, so consider dealing with that before you drop yours. |
