| Are you referring to a door skin tool? If so, there is a tool called " The Skinner" that is used to bend the edge of a new door skin. A 3/8 drive ratchet is used to turn a roller that squeezes the seam flat. I got mine from a MAC tools distributor, but any one of the "tool guys" like Matco/ Snap On should be able to get it, as well as any Body Shop supply store like Finishmaster. The Eastwood Company also makes one that is more like a pliers, I believe, and you can order it online from them. I have no idea how well it works. I rarely use the skinner tool, and have found that it's easier and faster to use a body hammer and rubber dolly. It's one of those tools that seem like a good idea when you buy it, but, in this case, I prefer doing it the old fashioned way. |
